Directions

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini until just tender, according to the package instructions.

2. Drain well and let the tortellini sit for 2–3 minutes so excess moisture can evaporate.

3. In a large bowl, toss the tortellini with olive oil.

4. Add parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.

6. Arrange the tortellini in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space between pieces.

7. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket once halfway through, until golden brown and crisp on the edges.
8. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes / Tips

  • Drain the tortellini very well so the coating sticks better and the edges crisp properly.

  • Do not overcrowd the basket. Cook in batches if needed for the best texture.

  • Finely grated parmesan works better than shredded parmesan for an even crispy coating.

  • Serve right away for the best crunch.

Variations

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.

  • Swap Italian seasoning for ranch seasoning for a different flavor.

  • Use cheese-filled mini tortellini for more bite-sized party snacks.

  • Serve with warm marinara on the side if you want a dipping option.
