Ingredients

  • 4 slices sturdy bread

  • 4 slices mozzarella, provolone, or other good melting cheese

  • 4 tomato slices, patted dry

  • 4 bacon slices

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: light butter spread for extra crisp bread

Directions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.

2. Pat the tomato slices dry with paper towel so the toast stays crisp.

3. Place one slice of cheese on each piece of bread and top with one tomato slice. Season lightly with black pepper.

4. Wrap one bacon slice around the top of each toast and tuck the ends underneath if needed to help hold the shape.

5. Place the toasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

6. Cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

7. Let rest for 1–2 minutes before serving so the cheese sets slightly.
