1½ lb chicken breast, cut into chunks
1 red bell pepper, cut into pieces
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into pieces
1 green bell pepper, cut into pieces
1 small red onion, cut into chunks
½ cup BBQ sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Wooden skewers
1. In a large bowl, toss chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Thread chicken, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers.
3. Brush skewers with BBQ sauce.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
5. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
6. Brush with more BBQ sauce during the last 2 minutes and cook until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
7. Serve immediately.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Use zucchini or mushrooms instead of some peppers.
Try honey BBQ, smoky BBQ, or spicy BBQ sauce.
