Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10–12 minutes
Total Time: 20–22 minutes
12 small flour tortillas
2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup cream cheese, softened
1 small can diced green chiles
1 tsp taco seasoning
Cooking spray or light oil spray
1. In a bowl, mix cooked shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, green chiles, and taco seasoning.
2. Warm tortillas for a few seconds so they roll easily without cracking.
3. Add filling to each tortilla and roll tightly into taquitos.
4. Lightly spray taquitos with oil for better crisping.
5. Place in a single layer inside the air fryer basket seam-side down.
6. Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
7. Serve hot with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
Do not overcrowd the basket for maximum crispiness.
Spray the tortillas lightly with oil to help them brown evenly.
Flip halfway through cooking if your air fryer browns unevenly.
Let taquitos rest 1–2 minutes before serving for a crispier shell.
Extra Cheesy: Add extra cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.
Spicy Version: Add jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
Beef Taquitos: Replace chicken with seasoned ground beef.
Party Snack Style: Slice taquitos in halves and serve with dips.
