1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F and grease a small loaf pan that fits inside the basket.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
5. Spread half the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
6. Swirl gently with a knife, place the pan in the air fryer, and cook for 24–30 minutes. Loosely cover with foil after 12–15 minutes if the top browns too quickly.
7. Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Do not overmix the batter or the loaf may turn dense instead of soft.
Use a small loaf pan with a little space around it so the hot air can circulate properly.
Cover loosely with foil if the top gets too dark before the center is fully baked.
Let the bread cool a bit before slicing so the swirl sets better.
Add a simple glaze on top with powdered sugar and a little milk for a sweeter finish.
