Total Time: 25 minutes
4 hot dogs
4 wooden skewers
1 cup corn muffin mix
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Cooking spray
1. Pat the hot dogs dry, then insert a wooden skewer into each one.
2. In a bowl, mix corn muffin mix, egg, milk, and flour until thick and smooth.
3. Dip each hot dog into the batter, turning to coat evenly.
4. Place the corn dogs on parchment and lightly spray with cooking spray.
5. Air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp.
6. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Use a thick batter so it sticks better to the hot dogs.
Pat the hot dogs dry first — this helps the coating hold.
Spray lightly with oil for a crispier golden crust.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
Mini Corn Dogs: Cut hot dogs in half before coating.
Cheesy Corn Dogs: Add shredded cheddar to the batter.
Spicy Style: Add a pinch of cayenne or paprika.
