Golden air fryer garlic knots brushed with garlic butter, finished with parmesan and parsley—soft, fluffy, and perfect for a quick snack, party appetizer, or easy side dish.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6–8 minutes
Total Time: 16–18 minutes
Servings: 4
1 lb refrigerated pizza dough or homemade pizza dough
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
½ tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp salt
Cooking spray
1. Cut the pizza dough into 12 small strips. Tie each strip into a loose knot and tuck the ends underneath.
2. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the garlic knots in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
3. Air fry at 350°F for 6–8 minutes, or until the knots are puffed, golden, and lightly crisp on the outside.
4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, parmesan, parsley, Italian seasoning, and salt.
5. Brush the hot garlic knots with the garlic butter mixture right after cooking.
6. Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Do not overcrowd the basket. The knots need space so the hot air can brown the edges evenly.
Brush the garlic butter on after cooking, not before. This keeps the garlic from burning and gives the knots a fresher flavor.
For extra golden tops, cook 1 extra minute at the end, but watch closely.
Cheesy Garlic Knots: Add extra parmesan or a little shredded mozzarella after air frying.
Spicy Garlic Knots: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
Pizza Garlic Knots: Serve with warm marinara and sprinkle with extra Italian seasoning.
Herb Butter Knots: Add basil, oregano, or rosemary to the butter mixture.
