Juicy air fryer hamburgers with browned edges and a simple no-grill method — easy for quick dinners, burger night, or weeknight meals.
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10–12 minutes
Total Time: 20–22 minutes
1½ pounds ground beef, 80/20 preferred
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 burger buns, optional
Cheese slices, lettuce, tomato, pickles, or sauce, optional for serving
1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
2. In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
3. Divide the beef into 4 patties. Press a small shallow indent in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
4. Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5. Check that the burgers reach 160°F in the center. Rest for 2–3 minutes, then serve with buns and toppings if desired.
Do not press the patties while they cook, or the burgers can lose their juices.
Leave space between the patties so the hot air can brown the edges.
For extra juicy burgers, use 80/20 ground beef instead of very lean beef.
Add cheese during the last 1 minute of cooking for air fryer cheeseburgers.
Add smoked paprika or steak seasoning for a deeper burger flavor.
Serve the patties over salad or rice bowls instead of buns for an easy dinner option.
