Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 16-18 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
2 large sweet potatoes, cut into fries
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1. Cut the sweet potatoes into even fries and pat them very dry.
2. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 380°F for 16–18 minutes, shaking halfway.
4. Sprinkle cheddar over the hot fries during the last 1–2 minutes, just until melted.
5. Top with bacon crumbles and green onions. Serve warm.
Do not overcrowd the basket, or the fries may steam instead of crisp.
Pat the sweet potatoes dry before cooking for better browned edges.
Add the cheese only at the end so it melts without burning.
Spicy Style: Add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes.
Ranch Style: Drizzle lightly with ranch before serving.
BBQ Style: Add a small drizzle of barbecue sauce after cooking.
