Crispy air fryer pasta chips made with bowtie pasta, parmesan, and simple seasonings—golden, crunchy, cheesy, and perfect for dipping.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8–10 minutes
Total Time: 18–20 minutes
Servings: 4
8 oz bowtie pasta / farfalle
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Marinara sauce, for dipping
1. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente, then drain well.
2. Pat the pasta dry so the chips can crisp instead of steam.
3. Toss pasta with olive oil, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 390°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway.
5. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Dry the pasta well before air frying. Extra moisture makes the chips softer.
Do not overcrowd the basket. Cook in batches if needed for better crunch.
Shake halfway so the pasta chips brown evenly on all sides.
Spicy Pasta Chips: Add red pepper flakes or cayenne before air frying.
Extra Cheesy Pasta Chips: Add more parmesan right after cooking while the chips are still hot.
Ranch Pasta Chips: Replace Italian seasoning with ranch seasoning for a party snack flavor.
