Crispy air fryer pasta chips with golden rigatoni, parmesan seasoning, and marinara dip — an easy crunchy snack or appetizer.
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
8 oz (225 g) rigatoni pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Marinara sauce, for serving
1. Cook the rigatoni until al dente, then drain well.
2. Toss the pasta with olive oil, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and arrange the pasta in a single layer in the basket.
4. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
5. Let cool for 2–3 minutes and serve with marinara sauce.
Cook the pasta just until al dente. Overcooked pasta can become too hard after air frying.
Shake the basket halfway through cooking for even browning and crispier chips.
Toss with parmesan immediately after cooking so it sticks better to the hot pasta.
Let the chips cool for 2–3 minutes before serving for maximum crunch.
Do not overcrowd the basket for the crispiest results.
Garlic Parmesan: Add extra parmesan and garlic powder before air frying.
Spicy Version: Toss with cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
Ranch Style: Use ranch seasoning instead of Italian seasoning.
Pizza Flavor: Add parmesan, oregano, basil, and a pinch of garlic powder.
Cheesy Snack: Sprinkle with grated parmesan immediately after cooking.
