Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

  • 4–6 tablespoons hot water

  • Cooking spray or a little oil for the ramekins

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Chili flakes, optional for serving

  • Microgreens, optional for serving

  • Toast or avocado toast, optional for serving

Directions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.

2. Lightly grease 2 small ramekins or oven-safe dishes.

3. Add 2–3 tablespoons of hot water to each ramekin.

4. Crack 1 egg into each ramekin.

5. Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket.

6. Air fry for 4–6 minutes, depending on how runny you want the yolk.

7. Carefully remove the ramekins and let the eggs sit for about 30 seconds.

8. Use a spoon to lift the eggs out and season with salt and black pepper.

9. Serve right away on toast, avocado toast, or as part of an easy breakfast plate.
