Total Time: 19 minutes
12 wonton wrappers
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
Cooking spray
Extra powdered sugar, for dusting
1. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
2. Fold in the chopped strawberries and strawberry jam. Keep the filling thick and do not add extra liquid.
3. Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush the edges with water, fold, and press tightly to seal.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Lightly spray the basket and the wontons with cooking spray.
5. Air fry for 6–7 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Let cool for 2 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Do not overfill the wontons. Too much filling can leak out while they cook.
Press the edges firmly and seal with a little water so the cheesecake filling stays inside.
Chop the strawberries very small to keep the filling smooth and easy to seal.
Serve the wontons warm for the crispiest texture and creamiest center.
Chocolate Strawberry Wontons: Add a few mini chocolate chips to the cream cheese filling.
Strawberry Lemon Wontons: Add 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest for a brighter cheesecake flavor.
Berry Cheesecake Wontons: Use raspberries or blueberries instead of strawberries.
Cinnamon Sugar Wontons: Skip the powdered sugar and toss the warm wontons in cinnamon sugar.
