Air fryer tortilla garlic bread is a quick cheesy shortcut made with flour tortillas, butter, mozzarella, parmesan, and garlic seasoning. It turns crisp, golden, and flavorful in minutes, making it perfect for a fast snack, easy side dish, or simple appetizer.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4–6 minutes
Total Time: 10–11 minutes
Servings: 2
2 medium flour tortillas
2 tablespoons softened butter
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 pinch salt, optional
1 teaspoon chopped parsley, optional for garnish
1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F if your model cooks better with preheating.
2. Spread the softened butter evenly over one side of both tortillas.
3. Place one tortilla butter-side up. Sprinkle on about half of the mozzarella, half of the parmesan, half of the garlic powder, and half of the Italian seasoning.
4. Place the second tortilla on top, butter-side up, then add the remaining mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning over the top.
5. Carefully place the stacked tortillas into the air fryer basket.
6. Air fry at 370°F for 4–6 minutes, or until the top is melted, golden, and the edges are crisp.
7. Let it rest for 1 minute, then cut into wedges and serve warm.
Watch closely after 4 minutes because tortillas brown quickly.
Finely grated parmesan works better than shredded parmesan and gives a more even garlic bread finish.
For extra crisp edges, do not overload the top with too much cheese.
Preheating is optional, but it can help the tortilla crisp a little faster in some air fryers.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy version.
Swap mozzarella for an Italian cheese blend for a stronger savory flavor.
Sprinkle chopped parsley on top after cooking for a fresher finish.
Serve with warm marinara on the side if you want more of a pizza-style snack.
